The Mountain Institute
The Mountain Institute cooperates with mountain
communities to preserve their natural and cultural heritage in areas
of the Andes that have global biological significance or exceptional
historical value. The Mountain Institute is working with NCI to promote
the sustainable use and conservation of Andean paramo ecosystems in
Peru.
